Accurate Results
With an initial consultation you will have the opportunity to talk about your background, employment barriers and goals. In this 30 min consultation you will be assessed and sent a link to take the Strong Interest Inventory Assessment®. If a more comprehensive package is selected, you will also get recommendations for as many additional supplemental assessments as your selected package calls for.
Once you receive your link for the Strong Interest Inventory Assessment and all additional recommended testing links, you will take the assessments on your own time. These assessments will help to identify your employment goals, barriers, interests, aptitudes, skills, and compatible occupations. It is important that these assessments are taken seriously and answered as honest as possible to ensure the most accurate interpretations.
Once you've completed the recommended assessments, you'll have the opportunity to meet with a Futurelink trained coach for an additional 30 minutes. During your consultation, you will receive a thorough explanation of your assessment results to gain self-awareness of strengths, weaknesses, and areas that need improvement. This interpretation will also give insight on what occupations are best suited for you based on these strengths and weaknesses.
If you've selected a plan that includes an IEP (Individual Employment Plan), you will get an additional 30 minutes with a certified Career Coach. In these 30 minutes you will receive assistance in developing a realistic and actionable IEP. From here you could even be recommended the next steps, what education path you may need to take, or which workshops can help strengthen some of your newfound weaknesses. You will have the chance to discuss your nonnegotiables and agree on an action plan that is attainable and realistic for you. Once you have agreed to a plan with your coach. Your session will be over and an official IEP will be emailed over to you.
The last step is a follow up. Once your Individual Employment Plan has been created, we will decide on a milestone date in which your will get your last one on one session with a career coach to check in on you and your plan to see what is and is not working.
